Chenyu's Art
I am a PhD candidate at Berkeley studying how our immune system interacts in the context of cancer. Outside of the lab, I paint with water colors, sketch with pen and ink, dabble with the world of color and B&W film photography and photo development, and also spin the pottery wheel every now and then 🙂

Painting
Playing with pigments (oil, watercolor and acrylics) and their interactions on paper–my favorite way to express and capture memories.

Graphite, ink, and my free-flowing mind.

Photography
Seeing through layers of glass and manipulating light with my SLR analog camera.

Pottery
Shaping clay and experimenting with glazes to form functional and decorative vessels.
